Bird attacks make picking up dog poo harder
Just a word of warning to the people who choose to leave their bags of dog poo ready for collection at the end of their walk.
Sue Whitely from Cumbria was just telling us today, when she called to order Dicky Bag, that her prefered method of leaving her bag of dog poo so she could collect on the return journey of her walk has recently been made impossible by the local crows. These birds have got used to the fact that inside plastic bags you can usually find some nice edible goodies so when she has left her bags of dog poo they then come to investigate and either throw the bag around causing it to rip or just calmly peck holes in it, but either way you don’t have to be a genius to work out that the consequences are similar and very unpleasant to deal with.
In Newquay we have a similar problem but with the seaguls, who are persistant scavengers. Whether you’re walking in the countryside or by the coast remember to make your dog walk more pleasant use a Dicky Bag, it’s the civilised way to carry dog poo!
